Focus on Fireplaces

My husband and I just moved into our first grown up place together! Woohoo! After a few years of apartment living, our townhouse finally has the potential to feel like a home.

One of the best new features we acquired in this move is a fireplace. Not having had a fireplace since I was a young girl, I almost didn't remember their purpose. Thankfully with the approaching winter season (if it ever stops being over 90 degrees in California!) I can recall the function of fireplaces. My current focus is on how to make our fireplace more a part of our home.
